AdventHealth needed to replace nonfunctional chillers at its Kissimmee, Florida, facility. The project included a new water-cooled chiller, new cooling tower and new heat recovery chiller, along with the associated pumps and flow/British thermal unit meters.
AdventHealth had experienced performance issues with its existing heat recovery chiller and wanted to confirm the replacement operated as intended and integrated properly with the existing chilled water and heating hot water systems. Hanson tested the replacement heat recovery chiller and confirmed that it controlled to the heating hot water supply setpoint.
Hanson provided tactical mechanical commissioning that included functional testing of the systems and a systems manual.
