Hanson provided roadway and drainage design services to widen Ellis Road from a two-lane rural section to a four-lane urban section spanning 1.7 miles.
Hanson collaborated with the Florida Department of Transportation to develop a plan for significant changes to the intersection of State Road 115/Southside Boulevard with Deerwood Park Boulevard/A.C. Skinner Parkway.
Hanson provided design engineering services for the Chicago Region Environmental and Transportation Efficiency Program (CREATE) WA4 BNSF Panhandle connection track from the Chicago Subdivision to the Chillicothe Subdivision.
Hanson provided a final cover planning document, design, bidding support and construction quality assurance for Vistra's coal combustion residual landfill at the Newton Power Plant in Newtown, Illinois.
BNSF retained Hanson to manage the environmental permitting process for the LaCrosse (Wisconsin) double-track project.
Hanson provided railway, electrical and mechanical engineering services for the expansion and upgrade of Kansas City de Mexico’s Sanchez Yard near Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Hanson helped a major Gulf Coast chemical company increase its production capabilities by expanding its storage-in-transit yard
Hanson’s efforts included the front-end engineering design and final design of north, east and west storage yards, north loading yard, an alcohol loading area, ethylene oxide loading area and multiple connection tracks.

Seminole Gaming chose Hanson to provide commissioning of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems for its $1.5 billion renovation and expansion of its Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
The University of Central Florida chose Hanson to perform commissioning services for its new downtown campus’s central energy plant.
Hanson provided commissioning services and an emergency power systems study for the Norton Museum of Art expansion in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Hanson provided a study and design services for rehabilitation, as well as construction inspection, for Bridge 241 over the Calumet River in Lake County, Indiana.
Hanson is providing facility condition assessments of the mechanical equipment at Seminole County Public Schools buildings, including the transportation department facility.
