Boiler drone inspection services
Project Summary
Hanson provided Illinois Environmental Protection Agency-required Mercury and Air Toxics Standards boiler observation services for a confidential client at various power stations in Illinois. Hanson used a drone to conduct visual observations of various coal-fired boiler components while the unit was out of service, made repair recommendations and provided a final observation report. Later, when the unit was back in service, Hanson returned to perform flue gas testing, witness tuning of the unit and provide a final report of the tuning activities.
