Memorial Physician Services medical office
Project Summary
In 2013, Memorial Physician Services and Springfield Clinic combined their respective medical practices into one new location on the campus of Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville, Illinois. This facility offers residents in Morgan, Cass, Greene, Scott and Macoupin counties access to more than 50 physicians, advanced practice nurses, physician assistants, an on-site lab and digital X-ray services.
Working with BSA LifeStructures and Memorial Health System, Hanson provided site development, civil and structural engineering and commissioning services for the 80,000-square-foot building. The two-story building includes a vestibule, two reception areas, exam rooms, offices, nurses’ stations, procedures rooms, meeting rooms, lab and X-ray areas.
In addition to the building, the project team designed new entrances and driveways, expanded the parking lot — which included providing areas for mobile scanning vehicles — and updated the site’s utilities.
