UCF Partnership 3 Level 2 energy audit

Project Summary

The University of Central Florida (UCF) chose Hanson to provide an ASHRAE Level 2 energy audit for its Partnership 3 (P3) Building in Orlando, Florida.

The P3 Building, which was constructed in 2010 and comprises 117,442 square feet in five stories, houses U.S. Army and Marine Corps units, training rooms for the National Center for Simulation and UCF Institute for Simulation and Training, laboratories, administrative offices and mission-critical server rooms.

The Level 2 energy assessment and audit consisted of reviewing historical utility data, conducting a facility site audit, performing a space function analysis, identifying facility improvement measures, reviewing operating and maintenance procedures and assessing the functionality and capabilities of the building automation system. Hanson also provided an end-use breakdown of energy use by system type.
