Project Summary
Hanson was chosen to develop a decommissioning plan for the proposed Harvest Ridge Wind Farm in Douglas County, Illinois. The scope of services includes developing text for the decommissioning plan that meets the Douglas County Wind Energy Conversion System Ordinance and the Illinois Department of Agriculture Wind Energy Facilities Agricultural Impact Mitigation Act requirements, conducting a public involvement program and developing cost estimates. Cost estimates included the valuation for removing all components of the wind farm, as well as assessing the salvage value of the components having market value at the end of the project.
