Collora celebrates 25 years with Hanson
WAYNE, N.J. — Ted Collora, PLS, senior vice president and telecommunications market principal, recently celebrated 25 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s New York metropolitan office.
Collora joined the company in 1990. Prior to joining the firm, he was a program manager for ITT Federal Electric Corp. and established BARC Group Inc., a telecommunications engineering consulting firm, which later merged with Hanson.
At Hanson, he has been the principal-in-charge for numerous communications projects and mission-critical facilities in the U.S. and around the world for AT&T Inc., the International Broadcasting Bureau/Voice of America, Harris Corp., Motorola, the New York Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications Emergency Radio Communications System and the Metropolitan Television Alliance World Trade Center broadcast facilities. His experience includes private-sector communication networks, government and military systems, broadcast radio and TV, data centers and navigational facilities.
He is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies’ International Committee, the Armed Forces Communications Engineering Association, the Association of American Railroads Communications Committee and the National Society of Professional Engineers. He is a civil engineer and a licensed professional land surveyor in New Jersey.
