Canopy marks five years at Hanson’s Peoria office
PEORIA, Ill. — Andrew Canopy, P.E., PLS, project manager, recently celebrated five years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Peoria regional office.
Canopy joined Hanson in 2008 and serves the firm’s power and industry market. As a project manager he has been involved in a variety of work, including land development; roadway improvements; bridge reconstruction; new buildings; manufacturing, educational and medical facilities design; water distribution; wastewater collection; and stormwater management.
Canopy earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1993 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a master’s degree in 1994 from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration in 2002 from Bradley University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Missouri and a licensed professional land surveyor in Illinois. He is a member of the Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association and served as its president in 2011-12. He also is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Illinois Society of Professional Engineers and National Council of Examiners for Engineering.
