Bergdorf joins Hanson’s human resources department
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Amanda Bergdorf, human resources generalist, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield headquarters. She will support human resources functions, including workforce development, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management and compliance.
Bergdorf is an adjunct instructor at Benedictine University’s Springfield campus. Before joining Hanson, she worked for Memorial Health System in Springfield, where she most recently was the manager of organization development.
Bergdorf received a bachelor’s degree in theology from Lincoln Christian University and a master’s degree in management and organizational behavior from Benedictine. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and is president of its Central Illinois Chapter. She also is a member of the Central Illinois Film Commission, Central Illinois Organization Development Network and the Illinois Women in Leadership. In 2017, she was named to the Springfield Business Journal’s “40 Under Forty” list.
