Bush becomes civil designer at Hanson’s Jacksonville, Fla., office

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — B. Kent Bush recently became a civil designer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Jacksonville, Fla., office. He will be engaged in the design and development of construction documents for roadway, rail and drainage projects.

Bush was an intern at the Jacksonville office, where he assisted in the development of designs and plans. He also had been an intern for the utility department of Fernandina Beach, Fla., where he developed designs and maintained infrastructures for stormwater, wastewater and water distribution and treatment systems, and for Northrop Grumman Corp. in Kings Bay, Ga., where he maintained Trident missile support equipment and updated procedural manuals.

Bush has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of North Florida. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Florida Water Environmental Association.
