Litherland marks 10 years at Hanson’s Sarasota regional office
LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. — Jeffery Litherland, P.E., a senior aviation engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Sarasota regional office, recently celebrated 10 years of service with the firm.
Litherland has more than 30 years of engineering experience. Before joining the company in 2008, he was as an estimator and project coordinator for Mount Carmel Stabilization Group Inc. and worked for the Illinois Department of Transportation Division of Aeronautics. At Hanson, he has provided design and construction management services for a variety of aviation projects, including for Southern Illinois Airport in Carbondale, Illinois, and Lawrenceville–Vincennes International Airport in Lawrence County, Illinois. He most recently was the resident project representative for the construction of an airport traffic control tower and the installation of its fiber-optic transmission system at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport.
Litherland received his bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering in 1986 from the University of Missouri at Rolla. He is a licensed professional engineer in Florida, Illinois and Missouri.
