Watson marks 40 years at Hanson Professional Services Inc.
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Kathy Watson, CPS, executive assistant to the firm’s president and CEO, recently celebrated 40 years at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s corporate headquarters in Springfield.
Watson joined Hanson in 1970 as a receptionist. As an executive assistant, she provides scheduling, planning and support services for Hanson’s executive and management teams. During her career, Watson has worked with every Hanson president since the company’s inception, including the late Walter E. Hanson, Lee Dondanville, Gene Wilkinson and Sergio Pecori.
She is active in Hanson’s community involvement initiatives, serving on Hanson’s company committees for the United Way of Central Illinois, Children’s Miracle Network and Memorial’s Festival of Trees.
