Thoele marks five years at Hanson
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Jared Thoele, P.E., a civil engineer, recently celebrated five years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield headquarters. He provides structural design services, construction observation and bridge inspections for roadway and railroad projects.
He is a design engineer for the Springfield Rail Improvements Program, a bridge over Union Pacific Railroad tracks on Iron Bridge Road in Springfield and the erection of a tied-arch bridge over the Illinois River at Meredosia. He also has provided structural engineering services for highway bridges over the Illinois Tollway’s Interstate 90 (Jane Addams Memorial Tollway) in Boone County and for the Glenn Highway capacity improvements project in Eagle River, Alaska.
Thoele has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also has a bachelor’s degree in physics from Illinois College. He is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, a member of the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers (ISPE) and president-elect of ISPE’s Capital Chapter.
