Bradford marks 25 years of service at Hanson

ORLANDO, Fla. — Bill Bradford, P.E., recently celebrated 25 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.  A senior vice president, Bradford serves as Hanson’s principal of government services where his responsibilities include developing and implementing programs that will achieve profitable growth while also mentoring employees and creating and maintaining strong, positive relationships with clients.

Bradford joined Hanson as a mechanical engineer, and he has provided the mechanical systems design for a wide range of projects — including hospitals, laboratories, federal and state prisons, jails and courthouses — and numerous projects for private industry.  He also has served as principal-in-charge for a variety of continuing services contracts for federal and state government agencies.  As a client liaison, he works to provide ongoing communication, monitor and maintain client satisfaction, and conduct ongoing project reviews.

His career highlights include serving as the project manager for the following projects:  two new 226,000-square-foot engineering office buildings in Orlando, Fla.; design of new stand-alone hospitals in various states; and design of a new 500,000-square-foot federal prison and satellite camp.  Bradford also has served as the principal-in-charge of various energy and commissioning projects across the United States.

Additionally, Bradford is active in community and professional organizations.  He currently serves on the board of trustees for the Palm Beach Atlantic University, and he recently was reappointed to the Planning Committee for GovEnergy, an energy workshop for federal employees nationwide.  He previously served as the chairman of the Florida Hospital Altamonte Foundation board, co-chairperson of development for the Orlando Festival with Luis Palau, and associate board chairman for St. Mary’s and Good Samaritan hospitals in West Palm Beach.

Bradford received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Tennessee and his master’s degree in business administration from Palm Beach Atlantic University.  He also is a graduate of “Leadership Orlando” and “Leadership Palm Beach County,” each organized by local Chambers of Commerce.
