Thoele earns professional engineer license
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Jared Thoele, P.E., a civil engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield, Ill., headquarters, recently earned his professional engineer license in Illinois.
Thoele joined Hanson in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, he was an engineering technician for the Illinois Department of Transportation, working for the Bureau of Bridges and Structures as well as District 6. At Hanson, he provides structural design services, construction observation and bridge inspections for roadway and railway projects.
He has a bachelor’s degree in physics from Illinois College and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a member of the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers and vice president of its Capital Chapter.
