Bradford celebrates 30 years at Hanson’s Orlando regional office
MAITLAND, Fla. — Bill Bradford, P.E., a senior vice president and the government and energy market principal for Hanson Professional Services Inc., recently celebrated 30 years of service at the firm’s Orlando regional office.
Bradford joined Hanson as a mechanical engineer in 1986. As the firm’s government and energy market principal, he is responsible for business development, employee mentoring and client satisfaction. He has served as principal or principal-in-charge for various projects, including the building commissioning of multiple embassies for the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations, numerous K-12 schools for Orange County Public Schools as a result of its construction program, a data center for the HiPerGator supercomputer at the University of Florida’s East Campus in Gainesville and the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto; development of energy roadmaps (strategic plans) for Orlando International Airport and multiple Florida Hospital campuses; and design contracts for many private, state and local government entities throughout Florida.
Bradford received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1980 from the University of Tennessee and a master’s degree in business administration in 1996 from Palm Beach Atlantic University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Florida and serves on the American Council of Engineering Companies’ Environment and Energy Committee and its International Committee. He has been a member of Palm Beach Atlantic University’s board of trustees for more than 20 years.
