Bozin earns professional engineer license

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Pete Bozin, P.E., a railroad engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Seattle regional office, recently earned his professional engineer license in Washington.

Prior to joining Hanson in 2007, he was an intern for engineering consulting firm Wade Trim in Gaylord, Michigan, where he provided computer-aided design and drafting services and assisted with property surveys. He also was an intern for the Michigan Department of Transportation, for which he conducted surveying. At Hanson, he has been a field representative and designer for numerous BNSF Railway Co. projects in Washington, Idaho and Oregon, including track realignments and bridge replacements.

He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association.
