Rexroad marks 25 years at Hanson’s Kansas City metropolitan office

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Max Rexroad, P.E., a senior civil and railroad engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Kansas City metropolitan office, recently celebrated 25 years at the firm.

Rexroad joined Hanson in 1992 and provides construction management and project management, prepares plans and specifications and cost estimates and participates in the design of railroad-related projects. He has worked on projects including new intermodal facilities for Union Pacific Railroad in Marion, Arkansas, Rochelle, Illinois, Santa Teresa, New Mexico, and Salt Lake City; expansion of BNSF Railway Co.’s intermodal facility in Memphis, Tennessee; and the design of CSX Corp.’s trans-shipment terminal expansion project in North Baltimore, Ohio.

He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering in 1990 and 1991, respectively, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
