Quill earns professional engineer license

OAK BROOK, Ill. — Michael Quill, P.E., a civil engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Chicago regional office, recently earned his professional engineer license in Illinois.

Prior to joining Hanson in 2014, he was a project engineer for a construction firm in Chicago and served as a surface warfare officer for the U.S. Navy in San Diego. At Hanson, he has provided services for projects including the widening and reconstruction of a 22-mile section of Interstate 90 (Jane Addams Memorial Tollway) in Boone, Kane and McHenry counties and the Glenn Highway capacity improvements in Eagle River, Alaska.

He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
