Neprud joins Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Kansas City office

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Eric Neprud, P.E., a structural engineer, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Kansas City office.  Serving Hanson’s railway market, he has 26 years of experience in providing railway bridge, highway bridge and building designs.  He currently is assisting with the replacement of BNSF Railway Co.’s Tennessee Yard Hump Scale as well as the replacement of BNSF’s bridge over Burlington Creek near Riverside, Mo.

He previously served as a project manager at a consulting firm where he managed bridge design and plan preparation.  Additionally, he has served as a design engineer on various buildings, box culverts and stormwater retention basins.

He received his bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering and his master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Kansas.  He is involved in several organizations including the Engineers Club of Kansas City, Missouri Society of Professional Engineers and National Society of Professional Engineers.
