Hanson’s Kamischke earns structural engineer license

PEORIA, Ill. — Alicia Kamischke, P.E., S.E., a civil engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc., recently earned her structural engineer license in Illinois. She serves Hanson’s power and industry market in the company’s Peoria, Ill., office.

Kamischke joined Hanson in 2007. She has assisted with various structural engineering projects, including the new Illinois Army National Guard’s Readiness Center and Army Aviation Support Facility in Kankakee, Ill.; Heddington Oaks Nursing Home in Peoria County, Ill.; and the expansion of First United Methodist Church in Peoria, Ill. She also has conducted precast-concrete plant inspections nationwide as part of Hanson’s contract with the National Precast Concrete Association.

Kamischke has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Bradley University. She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
