Hanson’s Ralph earns structural engineer license
ROCKFORD, Ill. — Jennifer Ralph, P.E., S.E., a structural engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc., recently earned her structural engineer license in Illinois. She serves Hanson’s infrastructure market in the company’s Rockford, Ill., regional office.
Ralph joined Hanson in 2002. She has worked primarily on bridge projects, providing structural design, inspections and plan preparations for bridge replacements. She also prepares condition reports and permit applications. Projects she has worked on include the Harrison Avenue bridges over Canadian National Railway Co. and Union Pacific Railroad tracks and the Kishwaukee Road bridge over the Kishwaukee River, all in Rockford; the Illinois 92 bridge over Interstate 280 in Rock Island, Ill.; the south-entrance bridge at Allerton Park and Retreat Center near Monticello, Ill.; the 6000N Road bridge over Interstate 57 in Bourbonnais, Ill.; and the Shattuck Road bridge over Interstate 90 in Belvidere, Ill.
Ralph has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Kansas State University. She is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction. She also is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois.
