Illinois DOT awards high-speed rail contract to Hanson-Parsons Joint Venture

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The Illinois Department of Transportation selected the Hanson-Parsons Joint Venture to perform an environmental impact statement (EIS) for the St. Louis to Chicago high-speed rail corridor.  The joint venture combines the resources of Hanson Professional Services Inc. with Parsons Transportation Group Inc.

This Tier 1 EIS will address environmental needs for double-tracking rail lines between St. Louis and Chicago for 110 mph high-speed rail service.
