Hanson’s Rickett earns professional engineer license

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Tristan Rickett, P.E., a railroad engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Seattle regional office, recently earned his professional engineer license in Washington.

Rickett joined Hanson in 2011 and provides civil design services for railway projects. His work has included BNSF Railway Co. triple-track projects in Kelso, Wash., and Winlock, Wash., and a BNSF siding extension in Oregon’s Wasco County.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Gonzaga University and a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association.
