Hanson forms strategic alliance with rail logistics company ERS
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Hanson Professional Services Inc. has formed a strategic alliance with Engineered Rail Solutions (ERS) LLC, a McHenry-based firm that provides transportation logistics, engineering design services and operational optimization, especially in the rail industry nationwide.
The partnership brings logistics services to Hanson’s rail clients, while expanding engineering capabilities for Engineered Rail Solutions, which was founded in 2013. With this alliance, the two firms can provide complete services to rail and industrial clients, including engineering, market analysis, land development, program management, environmental permitting, financial analysis and site optimization. Clients that will benefit from this partnership include industries that ship goods by rail, Class I railroads, port authorities, cities and contractors.
