Hanson receives national award for its redesigned corporate website
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Hanson Professional Services Inc. recently was recognized by ZweigWhite’s Marketing Excellence Awards program, a competition that acknowledges the exceptional marketing efforts of architecture, engineering, planning and environmental consulting firms in the United States and Canada. Hanson’s redesigned website – www.hanson-inc.com – was considered one of the “best of the best” by ZweigWhite’s independent judging panel, receiving third place in the website competition.
Hanson’s redesigned website was recognized for achievements in three areas. They include reflecting the company’s new branded image with both its design and content; featuring dynamic, user-driven web pages that are linked to and updated by the company’s marketing database; and showcasing a project portfolio section that demonstrates the company’s extensive project experience worldwide.
Hanson worked in partnership with Simantel, a marketing communications firm based in Peoria, Ill., to redesign the website. Simantel provided guidance and technical support, developing the site’s structure, integrating the database content, and designing the templates for the website. Hanson’s team provided content, photography and graphic illustrations as well as organizing an employee team for input throughout the process.

The ZweigWhite competition presented awards in nine categories: website, advertisement, direct mail campaign, target marketing, special event marketing, media relations campaign, new media, external newsletter and custom magazine.
