Hanson receives Merit Award for work on Project Hoosier SAFE-T

INDIANAPOLIS — Hanson Professional Services Inc. recently was honored for its work on Project Hoosier SAFE-T with a Merit Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Indiana (ACEC Indiana).  This award is made each year by ACEC Indiana to recognize an outstanding engineering achievement that demonstrates a high degree of merit and ingenuity.

The Indiana Integrated Public Safety Commission’s Project Hoosier SAFE-T is a statewide communications project that provides reliable communications among local, state and federal public safety agencies in numerous situations.  Hanson served as the civil construction integrator for the project, leading site acquisition, design, engineering, bidding and construction support services for its client, Motorola.  Hanson identified approximately 130 sites that required enhancements/additions to existing emergency communications facilities and worked with an additional 20 tower sites that required only minimal changes.
