Hanson and its employees recognized at IDOT Contractor of the Year luncheon
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Hanson Professional Services Inc. and three of its employees – Mike Barham, Jeff Litherland, P.E., and Matt Rinker – were recognized during the Associated General Contractors of Illinois’ 104th Annual Convention at the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) Contractor of the Year Awards Luncheon, which was held Dec. 7, 2010, in Springfield, Ill. IDOT’s Division of Aeronautics presented six awards for airport projects at the ceremony, with Hanson serving as the primary aviation consultant at four of the six airports recognized.
Collins & Hermann Inc. received an award of excellence in airport security and safety for installing a perimeter fence at the Coles County Memorial Airport, where Hanson serves as the airport’s primary consulting firm with Mike Barham serving as the resident project representative.
Park-Mark Inc. received an award of excellence in marking and signage for the marking of Runway 4-22 at the Quincy Regional Airport, where Hanson serves as the airport’s primary consulting firm with Mike Barham serving as the resident project representative.
Ambraw Asphalt Materials Inc. received an award of excellence in bituminous paving for rehabilitating the northeast portion of the parallel taxiway to Runway 4-22 at the Mt. Carmel Municipal Airport, where Hanson serves as the airport’s primary consulting firm with Jeff Litherland, P.E., serving as the resident engineer.
The Illinois Valley Paving Co. received an award of excellence in bituminous paving for rehabilitating Runway 9-27 at the Litchfield Municipal Airport, where Hanson serves as the airport’s primary consulting firm with Matt Rinker serving as the resident project representative.
