Hampton earns Certified Floodplain Manager designation
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Dustin Hampton, EIT, CFM, a civil intern in Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Jacksonville office, has become a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM).
The CFM designation is administered through the Association of State Floodplain Managers to individuals who have passed an exam.
Prior to joining Hanson in 2013, Hampton was a design and sales engineer for a wastewater solutions provider in Jacksonville. As a civil intern at Hanson, he analyzes stormwater structures and performs drainage design and analysis. He also assists with design for Florida Department of Transportation projects.
Hampton received an associate degree from Florida Community College of Jacksonville and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of North Florida.
