Greifzu joins Hanson’s St. Louis regional office
MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. — Samuel Greifzu, EIT, engineer intern, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s St. Louis regional office. He is providing foundation design for Ameren’s Illinois Rivers Project and structural design for transportation projects.
Greifzu was a structural engineering aide at Hanson’s St. Louis regional office and Springfield, Ill., headquarters. He assisted with design calculations for bridges and related structures, set up and managed databases and spreadsheets for the Ameren project and used computer-aided design and drafting software to revise drawings and model projects.
Greifzu has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Bradley University. He was president of Bradley’s chapter of Chi Epsilon, a civil engineering honor society; a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers’ student chapter; and was a design team member of Engineers Without Borders.
