Elements of Bradley Perrott

Growing up in Florida, Bradley Perrott, P.E., LEED AP®, GGP, EMP, and his family were regular theme park visitors every year. And for a long time, Brad wanted to design roller coasters.

Brad Perrott enjoys spending time with his wife, Audrey, and their two children, Sebastian and Ting Mae

Brad went on to major in mechanical engineering ─ receiving a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in 2002. And while he hasn’t yet designed a roller coaster, this University of Florida Gators fan and former member of the “Pride of the Sunshine” Fightin’ Gator Marching Band has worked on projects for the theme park and resort industry, including for clients such as Walt Disney Imagineering Research & Development Inc.

Brad joined Hanson in 2016 as a mechanical engineer and commissioning specialist and works at Hanson’s Orlando regional office. He leads the company’s mechanical design group for the central Florida area and assists with commissioning and energy projects nationally and internationally.

He is a licensed professional engineer in several states, including Florida, and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design AP (accredited professional), Green Globes Professional and certified Energy Management Professional. He was named one of Consulting-Specifying Engineer magazine’s 40 Under 40 in 2013.

Here, Brad shares what he enjoys doing on and off the clock:

Brad has enjoyed playing the accordion for more than 30 years. He and his wife strike a chord and a pose during a holiday party.
