Four members of Hanson’s energy, sustainability and resiliency team from the Orlando, Florida, regional office presented on commissioning and energy management topics at CxEnergy 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas.
On May 5, Wade Conlan, P.E., CxA, BCxP, LEED AP® BD+C, Hanson’s commissioning and energy discipline manager, and Jonathan Noordzy, P.E., QCxP, CxA, EMP, Hanson’s commissioning and energy technical discipline chief, discussed the challenges faced by the commissioning team during Orlando International Airport’s South Terminal C project in “Commissioning Airports: Pre and Post Inaugural Flight!”
Robert Knoedler, P.E., EMP, CxA, a vice president and an executive staff consultant, and Mathew Coalson, E.I., a commissioning and energy specialist, delivered “Electric Rate Structures – Importance of Analysis” May 5, in which they examined commonly used rate structures, analyzing them in regard to energy management, and the use of “blended” rates.
Robert also co-instructed an Energy Management Professional seminar May 2 and 3.
