Hanson helped the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fla. provide a home for the HiPerGator, Florida’s most powerful supercomputer. The East Campus Data Center is a $15 million, 25,000-square-foot facility for the $3.4 million HiPerGator and the university’s IT operations. Hanson provided LEED® pre-requisite and enhanced commissioning services for the center, addressing the building envelope as well as normal operation and fault/failure testing of HVAC and redundant power systems.
