Davidson County Community College picks Hanson for Health Sciences Center project

Hanson was selected to provide building commissioning services for LEED® project certification for Davidson County Community College’s new, multi-story Health Sciences Center in Thomasville, North Carolina. The building, which will be about 40,000 square feet, will provide for the relocation and growth of existing and new allied health and wellness programs to include nursing, pharmacy technology, medical lab technology, emergency medical science, massage therapy and aesthetics.

Systems commissioned will include the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and irrigation systems. Other systems to be commissioned may include normal, standby and emergency power systems, potable water and booster pump systems.
