Knoedler becomes member of EMP Examination Committee

Robert Knoedler, P.E., EMP, CxA, has joined the committee that manages the contents of the Energy Management Professional (EMP) examination.

The EMP certification is offered by the Energy Management Association to individuals who meet rigorous education, management and energy-related work experience requirements. Committee members contribute exam content on subject matters while helping maintain the validity, reliability and fairness of the EMP examination. The committee currently seeks to align the examination with the job task analysis for a building energy manager, developed by National Institute of Building Sciences and the Commercial Workforce Credentialing Council.

Knoedler was part of the first group in the nation to obtain the EMP certification and continues to promote the credential to industry professionals.
