The Seminole Tribe of Florida has selected Wantman Group Inc. and Hanson to develop design and sustainability standards that can be incorporated in the tribe’s construction improvement plan for commercial and residential construction.
Working with Seminole Tribe of Florida representatives, the completed standards will include preferred design principles and owner’s project requirements for minimum indoor air quality and energy performance (including commissioning), thermal and moisture protection (building envelope), thermal comfort and renewable energy and sustainability (including solar).
The team is working on the first phase of the project, which includes meeting with the departmental staff and reviewing existing documents and standards.
