The American Council of Engineering Companies of Florida (ACEC-FL) has recognized Hanson in the 2019 Engineering Excellence Awards.
Hanson received an Honor Award for the commissioning of Orlando International Airport’s new South Airport Automated People Mover (APM) Complex and Intermodal Terminal Facility (ITF). Hanson and its subconsultant, Construction Moisture Consulting Inc., provided services to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority for the APM and ITF, which established the infrastructure for the new South Terminal C. All major building envelope, mechanical (heating, ventilating and air conditioning), plumbing, electrical and life safety systems were commissioned.
The project will be recognized July 26 at the FES/ACEC-FL Annual Conference Banquet in St. Petersburg, Florida.
