Bill Bradford, P.E., a senior vice president and energy, sustainability and resiliency principal, and Wade Conlan, P.E., CxA, CPMP, LEED AP® BD+C, Hanson’s commissioning discipline manager, spoke at the third annual Seminole Tribe of Florida Renewable Energy and Sustainability Conference.

After speaking with attendees from Native American tribes from all over the U.S. at last year’s conference, Bill and Wade developed this year’s presentation to address energy problems identified by the conference participants: mechanical and electrical systems not operating as they should and not meeting energy efficiency expectations. This year’s presentation, “Understanding and Improving Your Tribe’s Energy Efficiency, Sustainability and Resiliency Through the Use of Facilities Condition Assessments, Retro-Commissioning and Energy Audits and Implementation of an Energy Roadmap,” was presented Feb. 12 at the Native Learning Center in Hollywood, Florida.

The conference offers a variety of sessions about energy development and sustainability to tribal representatives from the United States and Canada.
