Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood wins Project of the Year award

Hanson’s commissioning and energy group congratulates the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood’s project team on winning Engineering News-Record Southeast’s Project of the Year award.

Seminole Gaming renovated and expanded the Hollywood, Florida, hotel and casino to 140,000 square feet, becoming the region’s largest. It features an eye-catching, 450-foot-tall, guitar-shaped tower of guest rooms.

Hanson commissioned the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building automation systems during the design, construction, acceptance and occupancy stages of this $1.5 billion project. The team also is providing a variety of follow-up services. Read more about Hanson’s work on this project here.
