Terald Smith, P.G.
Terald Smith is an assistant vice president and senior project manager who has managed multi-discipline projects for industrial, commercial, municipal and individual clients. He supervises the environmental and surveying staff in Hanson’s Texas offices. Terald’s technical experience includes multi-media federal and state environmental statute and regulation compliance strategies. He has personal involvement with various regulatory agencies and permitting strategies, as well as design and implementation of remedial investigations and remediation systems. He is familiar with air, water, soil, sediment and biological sampling, preservation and analytical techniques. He also has managed the preparation of numerous federal and state permits, including wastewater and stormwater discharge, air emissions, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers individual and general permits, municipal and industrial solid waste, as well as National Environmental Policy Act categorical exclusions and environmental assessments. He also is intimately involved with developing the safety culture at Hanson.
Terald is a member of the National Groundwater Association.
