Ryan Nation, P.E., RCDD

Ryan Nation is Hanson’s chief electrical engineer. Ryan joined the company in 1997 and has designed power distribution, lighting, safety and telecommunication systems for projects, including facilities for the Illinois Air National Guard, a geothermal system for the Illinois Army National Guard’s Camp Lincoln, a terminal gate renovation and passenger bridge installation at the Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport, the remodel and addition at the Bank of Springfield Center, the Springfield Clinic 1st – 900 Building, Lincoln Land Community College’s Workforce Careers Center, University of Illinois Springfield’s University Hall, the stormwater pump station for the Carpenter Street underpass and Capitol Avenue’s streetscape improvements, all in Springfield; facility updates and additions for the Ball-Chatham School District in Chatham; a new overpass for BNSF Railway Co. on West Main Street in Galesburg; and the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory’s MI-31 facility in Batavia.
He is a member of the city of Springfield’s Electrical Commission, the Illinois Energy Code Advisory Council and the Electrical Board of Missouri and Illinois.
