Robert Waller serves as Hanson's land development practice lead, as well as an assistant vice president, senior project manager and operational lead for the aviation market.

His experience spans the planning, programming, design, observation and administration of construction on numerous general aviation, reliever and primary airport improvement projects throughout the Midwest, including land acquisition; airfield and site civil design; airport terminal, hangar and support building construction, auto and aircraft parking facilities; navigational aids; and equipment procurement. Operationally, he supports the aviation market principal in monitoring the market’s key performance indicators; provides a liaison between project managers, accounting and corporate leadership; and assists with the administration of the vehicle fleet management.

Prior to joining the airport group, Robert was a designer within Hanson’s transportation group, where he performed highway location studies and roadway design. 

Before joining Hanson in 1998, Robert served in the U.S. Navy from 1988 to 1992 as an electronic technician, attaining the rank of petty officer second class.
