Kevin Fuhr, P.E.

Vice President and Midwest Region Aviation Lead Kevin Fuhr, P.E., brings comprehensive experience in design, project management and implementation of a broad range of transportation projects to his position at Hanson. His diverse background includes airport program management, airfield design and project management; roadway design, planning and project management; and construction management and inspection.
Through his extensive project and program management experience, Kevin has successfully led numerous aviation and highway project teams and served as the Chicago office manager for a regional civil engineering firm. In these leadership roles, he has led a 15-person joint-venture design team for a new runway; served as the owner’s representative in the implementation and management of a large airfield expansion program; and been responsible for managing the day-to-day resources and responsibilities of a regional office, including leading business development and strategic partnership and pursuit activities.
He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers; the Institute of Transportation Engineers; Lambda Alpha Land Economics Society (Ely Chapter); the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s Civil and Environmental Engineering Alumni Board; and the March of Dimes Illinois Chapter’s Construction and Transportation Awards Committee.
