Joseph Worley, P.E.

Joseph Worley is an assistant vice president and senior project manager serving Hanson as a regional group leader responsible for supervising engineers, planners and support staff, as well as managing project teams to ensure each has adequate staff and resources available to complete the scope of work. With more than 25 years of civil engineering experience, Joseph has provided airport programming, planning, design, construction management and project development for Hanson’s clients in Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, West Virginia, Tennessee and Indiana, including the Monroe County Board of Aviation Commissioners and the Indianapolis Airport Authority. He has been responsible for managing facilities ranging from runways, taxiways and aprons to terminal access, service roads and equipment at multiple general-aviation, Part 139-certified, reliever and commercial-service airports. He also has managed pavement condition index survey projects at various military facilities throughout the country for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Joseph is responsible for overseeing personnel and work assignments, ensuring projects are completed in accordance with all applicable criteria and keeping the owner's best interest at the forefront. He is familiar with governmental requirements and regulatory measures essential for the successful implementation of airport projects. He also served for eight years in the Illinois Army National Guard, in part with the 744th civil engineering detachment.
He is a member of the American Association of Airport Executives, Aviation Indiana, Illinois Public Airports Association, Indiana Society of Professional Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers and Society of American Military Engineers.
