Jo Ellen Keim, CPA
Jo Ellen Keim is an executive vice president and chief financial officer at Hanson Professional Services Inc. She joined the company in 1995 as director of the corporate services division. She was elected a vice president and corporate treasurer in 1998, chief financial officer in 2000, senior vice president in 2005 and executive vice president in 2014. She oversees the financial operations of the company, including accounting; financial reporting; budget preparation; federal, state and local tax reporting; and the treasury function.
Prior to joining Hanson, she was an accountant for Ernst & Ernst in Chicago, a real estate accounting manager for McDonald’s Corp. in Oak Brook, Illinois, an instructor for Illinois College’s Department of Economics and Business Administration, director of the member services division for the Teachers’ Retirement System in Springfield and state accounting director for the Illinois comptroller’s office.
Jo Ellen received a Woman of Excellence Award from the Illinois treasurer at the 2008 Smart Women, Smart Money symposium in Chicago.
