Greg Staff joined Hanson in 2018 as a vice president and senior chemical engineer. He is responsible for business development for private industry clients, predominantly in the crude oil, natural gas and petrochemical industries. He concentrates on projects for industrial environmental, industrial processes, material handling, pipelines and logistics. He has successfully managed multimillion-dollar midstream engineering efforts, including scope definition, bid preparation and evaluation, budget preparation, contractor selection and supervision, as well as supervision and project accountability. Greg has a comprehensive background in oil pipeline and facility construction management, as well as extensive proficiency in constructability and route-finding issues; organizing discipline engineers and designers (mechanical, civil and electrical, as well as instrumentation and mapping); and collaboration with field personnel during start-up.
Greg previously served as a senior project manager for the international firm NGL Energy Partners, for which he directed engineers and construction leads for a project near Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to that, he was a vice president for Eagleton Engineering Inc., a medium-sized, midstream consulting engineering firm in Houston.
