Andrew Canopy, P.E., PLS

Andrew Canopy joined Hanson in 2008. A senior project manager, he was named an assistant vice president in 2018. He has managed large projects for various private and public clients, including electric transmission lines, road and bridge improvements, site and land developments, water distribution, stormwater management, land acquisition, residential and commercial subdivisions and boundary surveys.

Andrew is a member of the Geomatics Division, Transportation Institute, of the American Society of Civil Engineers; a past president of the American Society of Civil Engineers-Central Illinois Section and the American Society of Civil Engineers-Illinois Valley Branch; a member and past president of the Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association; a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Illinois; and a subject matter expert, exam preparation, for the Surveyor Committee of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.
