Peters celebrates 15 years at Hanson’s Chicago regional office

LISLE, Ill. — David Peters, a project manager at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Chicago regional office, recently celebrated 15 years of service with the company.

Peters, who joined Hanson in 2003, has provided water and wastewater infrastructure systems design, transportation planning, construction management, roadway design and project management for infrastructure and transportation clients. He has worked on projects including the master plan and design phases for the reconstruction of 22.5 miles of Interstate 294 from 95th Street to Balmoral Avenue in Cook and DuPage counties, for which he served as the design corridor manager utility lead; the widening and reconstruction of a 22-mile section of I-90 (Jane Addams Memorial Tollway) in Boone, McHenry and Kane counties; and the reconstruction of the Cherry Valley interchange (I-90 and I-39) in Cherry Valley. He is the project manager for municipal engineering services for the village of Hillside.

Peters received a degree in civil engineering technology in 2001 from Red River College in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and a bachelor’s degree in project management in 2016 from DePaul University. He is a member of the American Public Works Association and the Illinois GIS Association.
