Hanson’s auditing project receives recognition from ACEC of Indiana
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Hanson Professional Services Inc. recently received recognition in the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Indiana’s Engineering Excellence Awards for an auditing project.
Hanson is the recipient of the State Finalist Award for the project, in which 672 audits at precast concrete plants in 36 states, two Canadian provinces and Puerto Rico were conducted for the National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA). From March 2008 to December 2011, Hanson engineers observed and evaluated production processes at the plants, which were seeking certification from the NPCA, an international trade association.
ACEC is a professional organization of 51 state and regional councils with members from more than 5,000 engineering firms across the U.S. ACEC Indiana’s Engineering Excellence Awards are given annually to recognize an outstanding engineering achievement that demonstrates a high degree of merit and ingenuity.
