Hirlinger marks 25 years at Hanson

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. —Dawn Hirlinger recently celebrated 25 years at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield headquarters.

Hirlinger joined Hanson in 1983, serving as a receptionist. She was later promoted to an administrative assistant for the company’s structural engineering department. From 1990 to 1999, she served as the executive assistant to the company’s president, Gene Wilkinson. Hirlinger now serves as a human resources generalist, assisting with recruitment efforts, employee orientation and training, and Hanson’s Career Track program.

She has been active in Hanson’s community involvement initiatives, serving on Hanson’s company committees for the United Way, Children’s Miracle Network and Festival of Trees.

Hanson is an employee-owned consulting firm providing architectural, engineering and management services from its headquarters in Springfield, Ill., and offices nationwide.
